Reykjadalur Valley, Iceland • Hike to the Hot Springs

This tip comes from our Boston based Explorer Paige Sullivan.

Located 45 minutes from Reykjavik, this natural hot springs is a must! If you drive to the town of Hveragerði and hike about a mile through the Reykjadalur valley, you are rewarded with beautiful views and the bubbly, steamy, natural hot springs.

Reykjadalur directly translates to “steam valley” and it holds true to its name with steam floating in the air everywhere on this hike._MG_0361small

The views alone are worth the hike!
