Page, Arizona • Canyons by Kayak

While most people come to Page, AZ to see the Antelope Canyon, there is more to see and do around the area. One of the thing you can do is going on a kayak tour by Kayak Powell.

Kayak Powell offers a wide variety of guided kayak tours including a Lone Rock Canyon Morning Tour starting from $90. Although Lone Rock Beach, where most of the tours take place, is located in Big Water in Utah, the actual tour will start at the office which is located at 816 Coppermine Rd. Page, AZ.

There are two types of kayak available to use, the single and double kayak depending on your preference and the availability. They will provide life jackets that you can chose to wear or not. Proper briefing and instruction will be given before you get into the kayak, perfect for beginners.

The whole tour took about 3 hours. It will take you kayaking trough the open space of Lake Powell and small paths between canyons and cliffs. Get ready to be mesmerized by the view and the calmness of the whole trip. If you’re visiting in the warmer months you get the chance to park your kayak on one of the rocks and swim in the natural water.

If you’re looking for longer tours, Kayak Powell also offers over night tours as well as 3 or 5 day tours. Whether you prefer the shorter tours or longer and more challenging tours, you will still experience the canyons from a different perspective.
