If you are in Zermatt, the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise View Point (3883m), accessed by a cable car from the town centre, is an experience that no one should miss. With breath-taking views of the surrounding Alps (especially the world-famous Matterhorn) this view point really is one of the best around. Here at Tiplr, we recommend heading up there first thing in the morning as it will be less crowded!
Back in town, Tiplr suggests that you visit Stephanie’s Creperie. The smallest gourmet takeaway in Zermatt more than makes up for its size by serving up the best crepes, waffles and doughnuts around.
Open daily from 1pm until 10pm, you can order a crepe after a hard days skiing – or a drink in one of the many fantastic bars and pubs that Zermatt offers – and watch your food being made in front of you from a large variety of fresh ingredients. Offering both savoury and sweet crepes, Stephanie’s is a great place to head for a cheap supper or filling snack! We especially recommend that you try the Nutella and Banana crepe!

Being in the swiss Alps you may also want to try Raclette or Fondue which is the local speciality 🙂 don’t forgot to order a glass of Valais white Wine to make the experience even unforgettable.
