Cap Fréhel, France – The Lighthouse of Freedom

The wind hits the face, the sea hits the rocks, the light of the headlight hits the horizon, so far and so close at the same time. This place hits the heart and gives a sense of freedom as not many others.

There is no town near; only sky, stars and two lighthouses, that look over the travellers.

Cap Fréhel, in northern Brittany, opens the way to thoughts in freedom and to dreams that glide the cliffs and fly away.

Bring your lunch or dinner with you and chill out: here you can forget to belong to a city, or to human race. Feel yourself only as a breathe, that finds follow-up in the wind.

A small car park nearby allows to spend there the night ( I should’t say that, but is what I have done!), but better if you have a camper, because rocks are hard with only a tent and a sleeping bag!
