Maybe it’s a blustery, cold winter day in New York. Maybe you’ve had a rough week. Maybe you just miss your Mom’s home cooking. Whatever the symptom, the cure is Peter’s Since 1969.
This old-school cafeteria style restaurant features a variety of meats and sides, allowing you to build your own meal. Belly up to the counter and choose from the brightly colored dutch ovens. Their comfort food choices include, but are not limited to, homemade meatloaf, mac & cheese, rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes and collard greens.
It may not strike you to go here for lunch, but that’s when you’ll get the most bang for your buck! From 11:00 am – 4:00 pm (Monday – Friday) you can enjoy one meat entree, two sides, corn bread and a choice of salad or soup, all starting at $7.95, which is quite a deal for New York City. (Note: Prices vary based on the meat you choose.) You’re guaranteed to leave here with a happy, full belly!
